STAGE 01
Two parallel universes fall out of phase and begin sharing the same space. It starts subtly: déjà vu between worlds, skies that don't match. In comics lore, an incursion window can last years — or minutes. You rarely get a warning twice.
STAGE 02
The skies bleed into each other; the ground shakes between realities. The rule is merciless: destroy the other Earth, or both are erased. The comics' Illuminati kept a secret ledger of worlds they murdered to save their own.
STAGE 03
Earths grind together. In the MCU, Earth-838's Illuminati executed their own Strange for causing an incursion — and our Strange caused one too: Clea stepped out of a portal to collect that debt.
STAGE 04
When the incursions came for everything, Doctor Doom did what no Avenger would. In Secret Wars lore he stole the power of the Beyonders and stitched the surviving realities into one patched world — Battleworld. Doomsday is the war. Secret Wars is what's left.
